Citing TrendForce data, LEDinside reports that automotive lighting will grow to USD 47.07 billion by 2030, with vehicle LED products reaching USD 4.51 billion, prompting LED and display panel makers to expand into automotive applications. Mini LED backlighting is entering cockpits as well: the NIO ES9, Wey V9X, and SAIC Audi E7X all adopted Mini LED displays in 2026, while the Freelander Shenxing 8 debuted a 46.3-inch 8K Mini LED panoramic screen.

On the lighting side, matrix LEDs, adaptive driving beam, and higher-pixel Mini and Micro LED technologies keep pushing vehicle lamps toward digital, display-like functions, and Micro LED headlamps are now shipping in models from Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, Opel, NIO, Zeekr, and Mercedes-Benz. RINA TECHNOLOGY's LED ambient strips and grille lighting modules follow the same miniaturized, digitized direction.
