Gu'an-based Yiguang Technology remains the world's third and China's first manufacturer with volume production of automotive-grade OLED lighting sources, according to an October 8 report by Langfang broadcasters. Its red OLED taillights now serve multiple well-known domestic brands, and domestically produced OLED automotive lamps have captured more than 30 percent market share. The company holds 885 registered patents and has helped draft or revise eight national standards.
Yiguang spent more than a decade and over RMB 100 million solving automotive-grade challenges including heat resistance from minus 40 to above 100 degrees Celsius, UV exposure, and vibration, with R&D spending above 15 percent of revenue. Its panels deliver thin, bendable, zone-controllable surfaces with soft, uniform light. RINA TECHNOLOGY follows OLED rear-lighting progress as it continues to expand its own LED-based ambient, welcome, and grille lighting portfolio.
