LED and laser diode supplier Nichia will present at the DVN Shanghai Lighting Workshop on September 8–9, 2026, with a talk titled “Advanced Light Sources: Enabling Personalized Experiences in the Intelligent-Vehicle Era,” according to LEDinside. The presentation will focus on next-generation intelligent automotive lighting, including personalized headlight beam distribution, brightness and color characteristics.

Key technologies on show include µPLS compact microLED matrices for high-definition adaptive driving beams, glare control and lane-guidance projection, plus QuaLas RGB laser diodes for color-rich in-vehicle and exterior projection.
