Chery's Fulwin T9L plug-in hybrid SUV, built on the Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM system with a 1.5-litre turbo engine, ships with OLED taillights supplied by China-based Yeolight, according to OLED-Info. The win extends a run of automotive OLED design victories for the supplier, which has now reached models including the Nissan N7, the Hongqi H9, the Voyah Zhiyin exported to international markets, and the Dongfeng Nissan NX8.
OLED panels offer thin, bendable, zone-controllable surfaces with soft, uniform light and no glare-inducing hotspots, which explains their rapid adoption in premium rear lamps. Chinese manufacturers have pushed automotive OLED from prototype to volume production, giving domestic brands signature rear lighting at scale. RINA TECHNOLOGY tracks OLED rear-lighting trends closely as it develops its own LED ambient strips, door welcome lights, and exterior decorative lighting lines.
