At IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, FORVIA HELLA presented an adaptive interior lighting concept that combines comfort, visual communication and safety-related functions in a single seamlessly integrated surface. Intelligent RGB LED arrays enable dynamic lighting scenarios in the driver's cab, visually supporting distance warnings, battery charge status, incoming calls, assistance-system status, and welcome and farewell sequences.

A major European commercial vehicle manufacturer is already using the RGB module technology in the development of a future vehicle program. Modular concepts allow the same RGB technology to scale across different cabin surfaces, geometries and vehicle concepts, helping manage complexity and cost as commercial cabins evolve into working and living environments.
