At the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Marelli unveiled a portfolio of advanced lighting innovations including the Horizon-Intelligent headlamp, a full-width ultra-thin front lighting module measuring just 15 mm by 120 mm. The concept integrates touch and voice interaction directly into the headlamp system, allowing drivers to open the front trunk by touching the illuminated logo or issuing voice commands recognized in both Chinese and English. The digital cube tail light combines OLED technology with Folia-LED surface lighting to create vivid three-dimensional visual effects while supporting dynamic welcome and farewell sequences.
Marelli also showcased h-Digi MicroLED projection modules in 25,000- and 40,000-pixel configurations, enabling adaptive driving beams and personalized displays. Frank Huber, President of Marelli Lighting, noted future lamps will drive intelligent interaction and reinforce brand identity. The 6 mm OLED pixel size enables V2X communication and external messaging. RINA TECHNOLOGY follows these miniaturization and full-width lighting trends closely, developing slim LED ambient strips and grille lighting solutions that match the form-factor requirements of next-generation vehicle programs.
